**Responsibilities** **Patient Care:** + Diagnose and treat various medical conditions. + Develop and implement comprehensive treatment plans. + Conduct thorough medical examinations and histories. **Communication:** + Communicate effectively with patients, families, and healthcare teams. + Provide clear and concise medical information. + Foster a collaborative and patient-centered approach to healthcare. **Documentation:** + Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records. + Document medical findings, diagnoses, and treatment plans. + Ensure compliance with coding and billing regulations. **Diagnostic Procedures:** + Order and interpret diagnostic tests, such as lab work and imaging. + Perform procedures as needed + Collaborate with specialists for further diagnostic evaluation. **Team Collaboration:** + Collaborate with nurses, specialists, and other healthcare professionals. + Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and case discussions. + Provide consultative services to other healthcare providers. **Quality Improvement:** + Participate in quality assurance and improvement initiatives. + Review and analyze clinical outcomes for continuous improvement. + Implement changes to enhance patient care and safety. **Compliance:** + Adhere to ethical and legal standards in medical practice. + Stay informed about healthcare regulations and compliance requirements. + Participate in quality audits to ensure adherence to standards. **Continuous Learning:** + Stay abreast of medical advancements and best practices. + Participate in ongoing medical education and training. + Contribute to the development of clinical protocols and guidelines. **Qualifications** + Board-certified or board-eligible in Radiology. + Fellowship training in Breast Imaging preferred. + Strong clinical skills and a commitment to patient-centered care. + Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. + Ability and willingness to participate in general radiology is preferred. **Overview** Mercy Radiology Group, a large well-established private practice, affiliated with Dignity Health and CommonSpirit Health, seeks a dedicated and skilled Breast Radiologist to join our team in the Sacramento region. This is an exceptional opportunity to perform all facets of breast radiology within a supportive and team-oriented environment. **POSITION:** + Schedule 8a-5:30p, 4 days/week + Full-time position. Part time opportunities available as well. + Exclusively tomosynthesis, almost entirely on Hologic equipment + Breast biopsies utilizing ultrasound, stereotactic, and MRI guidance + Home mammography workstation available for interpretation of screening mammograms + Breast section comprised nearly entirely of fellowship-trained (or equivalent) breast radiologists. + Breast-only opportunities are available. Depending on skill-set and clinical interests, opportunity could also include advanced imaging of other modalities, ER/inpatient radiology, general radiology, and remote clinical work from home. + Manageable daily patient load with focus on quality and patient care to ensure excellent patient satisfaction **PRACTICE:** + Partnership track opportunities available + Collaborative and collegial environment + 100% radiologist owned and operated + Financially stable and successful organization that has been in existence for several decades. + Second largest private practice in Northern California + Multiple leadership roles available within the breast section, imaging centers, hospitals, and within the practice governing committee + Low turnover **COMPENSATION/BENEFITS:** + **Competitive Compensation:** $500,000 - $550,000 with partnership profit distribution of approximately $100,000+.
