We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Systems Analyst to join our dynamic team. The successful candidate will assist in the analysis of business processes, data, and requirements, contributing to the development of effective solutions for our organization. This entry-level position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the field of business analysis, work closely with experienced professionals and adoption of enterprise applications that drive Snowflake’s rapidly scaling operations.

WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Act as a key liaison: Effectively translate business requirements into clear technical acceptance criteria.

  • Assist in driving the SDLC: Collaborate actively with stakeholders throughout all project phases:

    • Planning: Define project scope, articulate business needs, and establish high-level requirements.

    • Requirements: Elicit, analyze, document, and validate detailed business, functional, and non-functional requirements.

    • Design: Partner with technical teams to ensure proposed solutions meet business objectives.

    • Implementation: Support development and configuration, ensuring alignment with documented requirements.

    • Testing: Develop comprehensive test plans and test cases, lead user acceptance testing (UAT), and ensure solution quality.

    • Deployment: Assist with smooth deployment planning, execution, and post-launch support.

    • Maintenance: Analyze production issues, propose effective solutions, and support ongoing system enhancements.

  • Collaborate and Learn: Work closely with senior team members to deepen your expertise in enterprise platforms and established business analysis/development methodologies.

  • Manage Priorities: Effectively manage and prioritize a backlog of enhancement requests and bug fixes.

  • Document Solutions: Create and maintain clear documentation, including process flows, configuration guides, and training materials.

  • Foster Teamwork: Actively contribute to a collaborative, innovative, and supportive team environment.

  • Stay Current: Keep informed about the latest trends in enterprise applications and relevant technologies.

  • Support Data-Driven Decisions: Assist in developing and analyzing metrics and reports related to application usage and process efficiency.

WHAT YOU'LL NEED (QUALIFICATIONS):

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Enterprise Technology, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

  • BSA Skills: Ability to elicit, analyze, document, and validate requirements across the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) methodology.

  • Analytical & Problem-Solving: Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving capabilities with meticulous attention to detail.

  • Communication & Collaboration: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, adept at interacting effectively with both technical and non-technical audiences, from end-users to senior management.

  • Technical Aptitude: Ability to learn new platforms and technologies quickly.

  • Platform Configuration Experience: Hands-on experience configuring enterprise applications; specific experience with Elementum workflow automation is highly desired.

  • Work Ethic: Proactive, goal-oriented, and adaptable to changing requirements. Ability to work independently and contribute effectively within a team structure.

  • Customer Focus: Strong commitment to delivering high-quality solutions and excellent customer service.

  • Project Management: Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies is preferred.

BONUS POINTS FOR:

  • Prior internship, relevant certifications, or coursework related to business analysis is a plus.

  • UI/UX experience, including creating mockups (e.g., using Figma).

  • Experience with the ServiceNow platform.

The following represents the expected range of compensation for this role:

  • The estimated base salary range for this role is $81,000 - $108,100.
  • Additionally, this role is eligible to participate in Snowflake’s bonus and equity plan.

The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as skills, experience, and geographic location. This role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life, and disability insurance; 401(k) retirement plan; flexible spending & health savings account; at least 12 paid holidays; paid time off; parental leave; employee assistance program; and other company benefits.
