We are actively hiring for a Research Nurse  opportunity at the Flourish Research site in Inverness, FL. This site, previously ENCORE Research Group, is located along Central Florida's Gulf Coast. This site supports early-phase clinical research in cardiology and gastroenterology.

The Research Nurse  is responsible for the execution of clinical studies from initiation through close-out, ensuring strict adherence to protocol requirements, regulatory standards, and GCP guidelines. This role involves independently leading assigned trials, guiding research staff as needed, maintaining accurate and timely source documentation, coordinating with sponsors and CROs, and supporting all aspects of clinical trial operations across multiple therapeutic areas— while providing an impeccable patient experience in every, single interaction.

Shift:  Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM or 8 AM - 5 PM + overtime potential
Location:  411 W Highland Blvd, Inverness, FL 34452
Compensation: Competitive hourly base compensation

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Represent Flourish Research professionally when interacting with staff, sponsors, patients, and external medical personnel.
• Accurately document patient assessments, test results, and study-related information while maintaining confidentiality and adhering to regulations.
• Obtain informed consent, recruit qualified study subjects, and ensure protocol-specific visits and procedures are conducted in a timely manner.
• Maintain accurate source documentation, complete case report forms (CRFs), and promptly report adverse events to the appropriate personnel.
• Stay current with training and regulations, attending required courses and maintaining ongoing communication with the research team.
• Take and accurately record patients' vital signs.
• Document and review patient medications and maintain up-to-date medical records.
• Provide clear explanations of procedures and treatments as directed by the trial protocol
• Maintain a high level of safety awareness for all patients.
• Prepare patient rooms, equipment, and necessary supplies for procedures and visits
• Address patient inquiries and provide assistance with their needs in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Must have a State of Florida RN License
• IV experience is required
• Preferably two years of experience as an RN
• Clinical research experience is preferred, but not required
• Impeccable organizational skills and attention to detail
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with the Principal Investigator, research team, Study Sponsor/CROs, and patients.
