Your Role At Baxter

The Plastic’s Manufacturing Department Specialist provides cross-functional support to multiple administrative responsibilities.  This position will learn multiple positions including, but not limited to, document review, shipping/receiving, purchasing, inventory, and maintenance.  The position requires a high level of flexibility, process understanding, and interpersonal communication.

What You'll Be Doing

• Form partnerships with other business functions (e.g. Quality Assurance, Technical Services, and Accounting) in order to achieve internal targets and contractual commitments
• Cross-train and provide backup for multiple areas including but not limited to inventory, shipping, maintenance, and quality support requiring cross functional training and excellence.
• Identify potential non-conformance issues and initiate appropriate non-conformance investigation processes
• Perform review of batch-related documentation and identify inventory variances.
• Maintain and report error-related metrics
• Support department lean initiatives and provide input to improve processes.
• Lead continuous improvement projects to improve department operations, increase efficiency, solve problems, generate cost savings, improve quality, and increase employee and customer satisfaction.
• Produces and analyzes standard and specific reports as needed.

What You'll Bring

• High School diploma or GED required. Some college course work is preferred.
• Minimum 3 years of manufacturing experience required.
• Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook and the ability to use enterprise software (examples include:  JDE, BPLM, Pilgrim, Trackwise, etc.)

We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we are committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $41,600 - $57,200 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonus.
