Job Summary

W e are seeking an experienced HRIS Analyst to support ongoing maintenance, testing, and optimization of the Workday Human Capital Management (HCM) suite. This role will collaborate closely with a Senior HRIS Analyst and HR stakeholders to manage and resolve JIRA tickets, ensure seamless system performance, and support a variety of HR-related technical projects. This is an excellent opportunity for a professional with hands-on Workday experience and a solid understanding of HR processes, testing protocols, and reporting.

 

Job Description

  • Provide support for JIRA ticket resolution and testing within the Workday HR Suite.
  • Conduct full lifecycle testing of system enhancements, changes, upgrades, and technical projects.
  • Create, update, and maintain test scripts across Workday modules, including: Core HR, Compensation, Benefits, Recruiting, Talent Management, Payroll
  • Log and analyze testing outcomes in JIRA and coordinate with relevant stakeholders.
  • Maintain and manage regression test cases and assist in Workday release regression testing.
  • Update and revise job aids and documentation to reflect system changes.
  • Generate and maintain Workday reports and dashboards.
  • Audit employee data, including onboarding and new hire information.
  • Support training and documentation efforts for new or updated HRIS processes.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

 

Job Skills Required

  • Minimum of 2 years of hands-on experience working within the Workday HR Suite.
  • Familiarity with the JIRA ticketing system.
  • Strong understanding of the employee lifecycle and core HR processes.
  • Proven ability to manage system testing, identify issues, and develop solutions.
  • Excellent communication skills—both written and verbal.
  • Strong analytical and reconciliation skills.
  • Experience in developing training documents, dashboards, and custom reports.
  • Familiarity with Workday upgrades, release testing, and cross-functional HRIS support.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating across HR and IT teams.

 

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, HR, or related field preferred.
  • Equivalent experience accepted in lieu of a degree.

 

Pay Rate

  • $57 per hour
