Are you passionate about providing compassionate care to patients in a supportive and collaborative environment? We are looking for a dedicated Patient Care Assistant to join our team. This role offers a flexible schedule, 401(k) matching (fully vested from day one!), and opportunities for professional growth.

As a Patient Care Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting the nursing team by delivering both indirect and direct patient care. Your efforts will contribute to ensuring patients receive high-quality, individualized care in a small-format hospital setting. If you're a team player with strong communication skills and a commitment to patient well-being, we'd love to hear from you!

What You'll Do:

Provide patient care under the direction of a registered nurse (RN), following hospital-approved protocols.

Assist with vital signs monitoring, blood glucose checks, EKGs, and intake/output tracking.

Support patients with mobility, meal preparation, feeding, and personal hygiene.

Answer call bells and assist patients as needed to ensure comfort and safety.

Maintain patient rooms, ensuring a clean and organized environment.

Serve as a Unit Clerk and assist with patient monitoring as assigned.

Employ critical thinking skills to recognize and report abnormal findings to the nurse.

Follow all hospital policies, procedures, and safety guidelines.

What We're Looking For:

Education: High School Diploma or GED (required).

Certifications: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification (required).

Experience: At least 2 years in an acute care hospital as a Nursing Assistant or enrollment in an accredited nursing program (preferred).

Skills: Strong communication skills, basic math skills, and ability to follow written instructions.

Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, walk, stoop, bend, and lift as needed.

Language: Fluency in English (written and verbal).

Why Join Us?

Competitive Benefits: 401(k) matching, flexible scheduling, and paid referral programs.

Supportive Team: Work alongside a dedicated team that values collaboration and quality care.

Growth Opportunities: Professional development and mentoring available.

Impactful Work: Make a meaningful difference in the lives of patients every day.

If you're ready to bring your skills and compassion to a dynamic healthcare environment, apply today!

Equal opportunity employer. We celebrate diversity and are committed to creating an inclusive environment for all employees.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 88,000.00 Per Year
