Job Description

Weekend Nanny (Summer + Potential Long-Term) – $30–$35/hr

A warm, busy family is seeking a part-time Weekend Nanny to support their family on Saturdays and/or Sundays during the summer, with potential to continue into a longer-term, career-oriented role in the fall. The nanny will augment the coverage already provided by a live-in au pair and will assist with both childcare and light household tasks.

Compensation & Schedule:

• $30–$35 per hour (off the books)
• Guaranteed 10–15 hours per weekend (Saturday and/or Sunday)
• Potential to expand to 30 hours/week in the fall (including Fridays)

• Summer only or long-term commitment (flexible depending on fit)

Responsibilities:

• Support parents with care for young children (ages not specified)
• Engage children in play, activities, and outdoor time
• Assist with light housework (tidying, organizing, cleaning up after meals and play)
• Provide an extra set of hands so the parents can relax or focus on other needs around the house

• Maintain a safe, warm, and positive environment for the children

Qualifications:

• Some prior childcare experience (ideal for someone earlier in their childcare career)
• Energetic, helpful, and flexible with a proactive mindset
• Comfortable working in a home with parents present
• Spanish-speaking is a plus, but not required
• Local candidates preferred (must be able to arrive reliably and on short notice if needed)
• Provide 3-5 professional references

• Must have U.S. work authorization
